TOPEKA, KS – The Kansas Republican Party today issued the following statement on the appointment of David Toland to fill the Lieutenant Governor vacancy: Kansas GOP Chairman Mike Kuckelman said: “The appointment of Lynn Rogers to replace a duly-elected Republican in the State Treasurer’s office and now the subsequent move to replace him with a liberal partisan such as David Toland shows Laura Kelly has no interest in working with Republicans to achieve meaningful solutions in Topeka. She’s simply interested in placating her far-left base. “Kansans are tired of Governor Kelly’s liberal extremism and disastrous handling of this pandemic and our state’s economy.
TOPEKA, KS – The Kansas Republican Party today issued the following statement on the U.S. Air Force announcement that no Kansas location is among the six finalists for U.S. Space Command headquarters: Kansas GOP Chairman Mike Kuckelman said: “Governor Kelly promised a ‘strong push’ and announced she was going ‘to use all resources necessary to support the selection of Kansas’ as Space Command headquarters. With today’s announcement of six finalists and none in Kansas, we know her effort was a total failure. “We need a governor who can deliver on promises, and Laura Kelly is not up to the task. Tennesseans, like Americans across the country, are guided by their faith. It is central to who we are and plays an integral role in our communities. But that religious freedom, which makes us uniquely American, is in danger if we send radical candidates such as Barbara Bollier to the United States Senate. Barbara Bollier believes that if you’re a person of faith, you’re disqualified from the Supreme Court and serving in public life. She would violate our Constitution

Rashard Young’s childhood at times lacked electricity and even running water, and often featured a growling stomach that drowned out the lessons at school. He has seen three of his sisters pass away. He has contended with stark deprivation and considerable adversity. You wouldn’t know it. Today, the 26-year-old holds a bachelor’s in criminal justice and legal studies, as well as a position as director of outreach at the Kansas Treasurer’s Office. He’s also a mentor to troubled youths who, truth be told, aren’t that much younger than him.

Barbara Bollier is the most extreme anti-gun Democrat Senate candidate in the country. That’s not an exaggeration. Last week, Bollier was caught on video supporting a total gun ban and confiscation program. Speaking about Australia’s gun confiscation program, she said, “they just took them all away, and you know what it’s pretty darn safe. It’s this amazing thing.” She also asked, “Who thinks you can just go out and

Will she return the money she raised alongside him? Bollier has staked her entire campaign on being willing to call out her own party. Will she do it or

BY ROGER MARSHALL, SPECIAL TO THE EAGLE To read this article online, click here. The American people faced a clear choice in both 2016 and 2018. Democrats promised to nominate and confirm Supreme Court justices who would defend more regulations, strip away our Second Amendment rights, defend abortion, and continue writing laws from the bench. Republicans, on the other hand, promised to nominate justices who would not legislate from the bench, protect the unborn, and uphold our Constitutional rights. In both elections, the American people spoke clearly by sending a Republican to the White House and expanding the Republican U.S. Senate
